- In March 2017 a new all-time high was nominated at the CEGH Virtual Trading Point (VTP): with 61.08 TWh a new monthly record in the history of the hub was achieved.
- Traded volumes of PEGAS CEGH products on the PEGAS platform reached 6.6 TWh in March, a new all-time high.
- At the CEGH Czech Gas Exchange 0.31 TWh were traded in March 2017, thereof 0.13 TWh on the Spot Market and 0.18 TWh on the Futures Market.
CEGH OTC Market:
With 61.08 TWh the nominated gas volumes on the CEGH VTP reached a new all-time high in March 2017. It is the first time in history that the mark of 60 TWh could be surpassed. This is an increase of 45% compared to March last year. This month also brought a new record for nominated volume on a single day with 2.19 TWh on 31 March. In Q1/2017 in total 178.5 TWh were nominated at the CEGH VTP, a raise of 30% compared to Q1/2016.
The Churn Rate in March was 3.9.
By end of March 2017, CEGH had 188 members.
PEGAS CEGH Market:
In March 2017, 6.6 TWh were traded on the PEGAS platform with PEGAS CEGH products: a new all-time high in history, and an increase of 228% compared to exchange volumes in March last year.
In Q1/2017 in total 18.6 TWh were traded, an increase of 172% compared to Q1/2016.
The Spot Market recorded a traded volume of 4.74 TWh in March, an increase of 175% compared to March last year. The Futures Market reached 1.9 TWh in March 2017, also an all-time high and an increase of 534% compared to March 2016.
By end of March 2017, 101 companies were registered at Powernext for the PEGAS CEGH markets. On 1 March, PEGAS welcomed INA as the hundredth member on the PEGAS CEGH market.
CEGH Czech Gas Exchange:
On the CEGH Czech Gas Exchange 312 GWh were traded in March 2017, an increase of 26% compared to March last year.
On the Spot Market 130 GWh were traded, on the Futures Market 182 GWh.
By end of March 2017, 20 companies were registered on the CEGH Czech Gas Futures Market and 19 companies on the CEGH Czech Gas Spot Market.
